WSUA Jingles
In the 1960s, WSUA used an a capella jingle
package from Pepper/Tanner. We're thrilled to include a selection of the
jingles here, as donated by Jeff Ronner and restored by Buzznet Media's
Anita Bonita and Russ DiBello.

Saturday Night Of Gold
A popular WSUA show in the 1970s was the Saturday Night of Gold (and
later the Sunday Night of Gold). Here is a montage of promos for the show,
courtesy Andy Baum, which convey the nature of this long running program.

1974 Election Promo
This is a spot for WSUA's 1974 Election coverage featuring Chris
Walters. Historical Note: Hugh Carey won the gubernatorial election over acting Governor Malcolm Wilson. Wilson had been Rockefeller's Lieutenant Governor, and was elevated when Rocky was appointed Vice President by Gerald Ford.

1976 Banquet Tape At the
end of each school year, WSUA would have a banquet during which they
played a tape made especially for the occasion. These tapes would parody
the station programs and poke fun at the membership, usually in a
no-holds-barred fashion. This is the 1976 tape, donated by Anita Bonita.
It's just over 37 minutes long (!) but offers rare insight into the
behind-the-scenes aspects of mid-1970s WSUA, and well worth a listen. The
tape is rife with swear words and would never be played on the air. Play
